About the Founders

Allan Affeldt and Tina Mion came to Winslow in 1997 to save the endangered La Posada Hotel. In 2018, they rehabilitated the 1930 depot on the property (also designed by Mary E.J. Colter) with the goal of opening a museum. Affeldt Mion Museum is named in their honor. Read more about them and the saving of La Posada Hotel in the links below.
