The Winslow Arts Trust (WAT) is a public benefit nonprofit organization that enriches the historic communities of Winslow, Arizona, and Las Vegas, New Mexico. The Trust’s goals are to preserve Fred Harvey structures found along the Santa Fe Railway and Route 66; to encourage and support cultural programming; and to celebrate the artists inspired by these places and histories.

Please join us in supporting the AMM – the Affeldt Mion Museum — via the Winslow Arts Trust.

Your generous support will keep the museum free for students, tribal members, and local citizens. Your support will enable us to create remarkable exhibits like the Hubbell-Joe Rug. Your support will help maintain this beautiful Mary Colter building. Your support will enable us to have someone here to answer your questions. And your support will enable us to develop more exhibits like the #502 SuperChief dome car, James Turrell’s Argosy Trailer, the La Posada story, the Mary Colter models, and the museum gardens.

The AMM is private, but–like La Posada, and all of Allan and Tina’s assets–over time it will transfer to charitable foundations like the Winslow Arts Trust. This is a labor of love. We designed and built the AMM to tell stories of this remarkable place and this beautiful region. Most of the design, development, collections, exhibitions, management, staffing, and operation costs are paid by Allan, Tina, and La Posada Hotel. All donations–however large or small–will be matched by Allan and Tina.
