ACCRETION RELIEF

Accretion: the coming together and cohesion of matter under the influence of gravitation to form larger bodies.

This relief is composed of eight separate floating painted wood paintings/drawings and one multimedia sculpture. Several of the parts are suspended from the ceiling. The center figure exudes a sense of meditative calm in the midst of chaos.
